Wicked Channel Review - "This is the best cd of dreamy alternative pop since Belle and Sebastian's The Boy with an Arab Strap."
JamSphere Review - "In a world where boring cookie cutter pop music rules, Radiana sound like an absolute adrenaline rush – fun, focused, ironic, gritty and melodic."
MTM Review -    "Radiana have released an irresistible, catchy, power-pop, punk-infused, thematic single There’s Only Person (I Hate More Than You), now on CD Baby, Spotify, and Apple Music."

LISA HAMMER - SOLO CD - DAKINI

DAKINI
is a CD released by Lisa as a solo artist, on the Projekt records label.  As one reviewer states: "Adequately capturing Lisa Hammer’s Dakini in words would vex any reviewer. Comparisons to Dead Can Dance, Enya and Loreena McKennitt are obvious, but that doesn’t begin to capture the special magic that Hammer (on keyboards, piano, dulcimer, bass, woodwinds, harp, synths, and more), assisted by three accompanists, unleashes on the CD’s heady mixture of Latin, English and wordless vocals combined with ethnic, dark ambient, world fusion and gothic music. Propulsive dynamism coexists with the sublime and ethereal, yet the strength of the artist’s singular artistic vision presents a unified front. Dakini is a special, unique listening experience aimed at those who hunger for music that is deep, profound and captivating" - New Age Retailer Magazine

 THE TERROR TWINS
Lisa's band THE TERROR TWINS (with pianist/composer/brother James Merendino of SLC Punk fame) has been described as "music for ghosts".  The duo uses the sound of a lonely piano and soft eerie soprano voice to haunt the airwaves.  They can be followed on Myspace, and their horrific and bloody live performance can be seen on FLASHROCK.  The scandalous Terror Twins were thrown off the air on Princeton University's radio station WPBR and banned for life.  Their CD can be downloaded at CD BABY or streamed on SOUNDCLOUD

MORS SYPHILITICA
Lisa Hammer was also the lead singer of the gothic rock group MORS SYPHILITICA, (1996-2002) with former husband Doc Hammer.  The band released 3 CDs:  Mors Syphilitica (1996), Primrose (1998) and Feather and Fate (2001) which is also on the Projekt Label.  One reviewer sums up their sound: "Feather and Fate, the third Mors Syphilitica release, provides fans with a body of work that is lush, soaring and beautiful. Each passing release seems to bring them closer to Godlike status and eradicates any notion that they could possibly be mere mortals." - New Grave Magazine.  Mors Syphilitica made appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and MTV, many radio stations including: WFDU, as well as touring the US extensively.  Band members included: David Mecionis (God is my Co-Pilot) on electric bass, and Hajji Majer (RIP) on drums.
More information, pictures, songs and videos of Mors Syphilitica can be found on a few other sites:
Legends Magazine Article:  "It should be no mystery that this reviewer has become one of the many hardcore fans for this band."

REQUIEM in WHITE

Lisa was one of the founding members of the Gothic Rock-Opera group REQUIEM IN WHITE, (1985-1994) with bassist Chris Walsh (RIP) and Drummer Javier Madariaga (Reagan Youth). The band had a loyal cult following, influencing many of the Medieval/ Ethereal/ Gothic Rock groups after them.  They played with bands such as Type-O-Negative, Christian Death, Sex Gang Children and Biohazard.  A great collection of songs, pictures, videos, discography and reviews can be found here:

SOUNDTRACKS AND CLASSICAL

Lisa created several scores for feature films and stageplays, including: Until Someone Gets Hurt, Grimmer than Grimm, Macbeth, Romeo and Juiet, Julius Ceasar,  A Midsummer Night's Dream, Alucard, Punks Dead, Beneath the Black Moon, Pox and founded a Medieval Music Group THE VITULOS SECESSION, performing at New York's legendary Angel Orensanz Foundation. The Early Music performance included a seven piece vocal group and a five piece orchestra including Early Music legend Paul Ash (Unto Ashes/Mince Pye), with songs ranging from 13th Century polyphonic chant to Madrigals to the bawdy and dark ancient Carmina Burana.  The only live recording of the group disappeared in a flood and was never recovered. There may be a restored video coming soon.

One of Lisa's early (1983-1985) bands ADX mixed the musical styles of Goth and heavy funk, similar to early Ministry and Parliament. In fact the band played with Ministry on several occasions.  ADX were notorious for scandalous live performances which bordered on Grand Guignol theatrics. Band members included: Ziggy V (Lead singer), Michael Jung (guitarist/Alice Donut) Gordon Cates on drums and Brad Haleen (electric bass, RIP). The band    opened for Ministry several  times, on their "With Sympathy" tour.
