MAYBE SUNSHINE

Maybe Sunshine is a "coming-of-middle age" story about a 40 something rock queen
who builds a new band from scratch after the disastrous break-up of her last band a decade earlier.
​She was a big deal in the 90’s, but now she is 20 years older, 40 pounds heavier, BITTER and divorced.

ePISODE 1: nEWtRON bOMB

In episode one Lisa plays her first gig with her new band Radiana.
The band plays to an empty room. The headliner, a horrible one-man band named NewTron,
likes Radiana and offers to introduce them to his record label.
Diego roughs up the club promoter to pay the band.

Lisa is called in to meet NewTron's record label, in a limo in the middle of nowhere.
Diego Diego wheels and deals her into the poor house. The label head, Victor Krieg
decides to overhaul Lisa's look and make her more trendy. Lisa realizes the futility of everything.

​In episode three, Lisa demands that Louis launch her web site, but he is afraid it will attract stalkers.
Later she tries to have a band meeting at a local café but can't    grab her bandmates' attention.
A vampire follows Lisa and makes an indecent proposal. Her stalker lies in wait in his mother's    basement.

Lisa visits her gynecologist and learns about the wonders of aging.

The bands must battle for their right to use the rehearsal space,
​and for their dignity, the only way they know how.
